Does the IGST paid during imports automatically reflect as ITC in our GST account or we have to manually add the amount as ITC while filing returns ?
If it’s not automatic, then the Govt. should make it possible because both customs and GST are Govt. systems and it should be possible to link the two.Yes, you are right. It should auto interface form customs portal data base to GSTN portal data base as all importer furnish details of GSTN also at the time of filing Bill of Entry in Customs portal.
We will have to wait for first month GSTR 2 to see whether auto interface happening or manually to feed in.
